Businesses with Child Care Referral Contracts

Businesses support working parents in many ways. Check to see if your employer has a plan that allows you to set aside pretax dollars from your paycheck to pay for child care.  Click here for other ways that your employer can assist you or support the child care community.

The fee for our referral services is free or reimbursable for employees of companies (listed below) that have a contract with us.

Here is a list of local employers who provide child care referral assistance to their employees:

  • Burton Snowboards: Offers enhanced level of service that includes unlimited number of searches with openings confirmed within 24 hours, consultation on child care issues, and written information.
  • Fletcher Allen Health Care: Offers basic level of service that includes consultation, total of 3 searches based on most recent contact with provider for openings, and written information. All parents contact Child Care Resource.
  • General Dynamics: Offers enhanced level of service that includes unlimited number of searches with openings confirmed within 24 hours, consultation on child care issues, and other written materials.
  • Hackett, Valine & MacDonald: Offers level of service parents feel they need to support them in finding and choosing child care. Parents contact Child Care Resource.
  • IBM: Offers enhanced level of service that includes unlimited number of searches with openings confirmed within 24 hours, consultation on child care issues, follow-up with parents to see how search process is going, and written information. Parents contact Child Care Resource.
  • New England Federal Credit Union: Offers enhanced level of service that includes unlimited number of searches with openings confirmed within 24 hours, in-depth consultation on child care issues, and written information. 
  • Vermont State Employees Association (VSEA): Offers enhanced level of service that includes unlimited number of searches with openings confirmed within 24 hours, consultation on child care issues, and written information. Parents contact the local agency in their county for service.
  • University of Vermont (UVM): Parents contact their local Referral Agency. UVM will reimburse parents up to $50 based on the level of service the parents choose.
