Building Bright Futures (BBF) Building Bright Futures seeks to assure that all Vermont children are healthy and successful by improving the quality, affordability, and accessibility of services for families with children under the age of 6 in the areas of health, early care, and education. As a public/private partnership, Building Bright Futures links community-based planning and program development with a state-level Council charged with creating an integrated system of services.
Kids Are Priority One (KAP1) The Kids Are Priority One Coalition is Vermont's statewide early childhood coalition of individuals, organizations, and businesses, whom are united around the mission of ensuring that every Vermont child has a solid foundation for future learning and growth.
State of Vermont Child Care Consumer Line If you have questions or concerns about a child care provider in Vermont, call the Child Care Consumer Line: 1-800-649-2642 toll free in Vermont or (802) 241-2367 from other locations. Get information about specific providers, including when they became licensed; whether they have any accreditations or STARS ratings; and if they have been cited for licensing violations in the past year.
The Daily Parent The Daily Parent is a newsletter for parents produced by NACCRRA (National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies). It is published quarterly and funded by the Citigroup Foundation.
Prevent Child Abuse Vermont (PCAV) For over 33 years, PCAV has been working effectively to prevent child abuse and neglect through parent education, support, and public awareness. Prevent Child Abuse Vermont promotes and supports healthy relationships between children and the people who care for them in order to eliminate child abuse.
