Who We Serve:

CCR is the community-wide hub for everything relating to infant and toddler care, daycare, preschool and early learning. There are about 6,500 children aged 3 months to 12 years attending some form of child care or after school program in Chittenden County.

About 30% of these children are from low to moderate-income families. Some have experienced abuse, neglect, or homelessness. Some are new Americans. Some have developmental, physical, emotional, or behavioral challenges.

No matter what the situation, Child Care Resource provides a range of important services to help make child care work for all families, and to help all children reach their fullest potential.

Mission Statement:
Our Mission is to strengthen the well-being, development, and education of children. We provide

consultation, education, and resources to families, professionals who care for and educate our

children, businesses and communities.  We work toward the day when:

 - Every child in Chittenden County has quality child care to fully support their needs.

 - Every parent and every professional who cares for and educates our children has the

   knowledge, skills, and resources to do their best.

 - Every community fully embraces caring for children and the child care profession as an

   integral part of our economy and society.
