Registered Family Home Child Care

Regulations for Family Child Care Homes are available from the State of Vermont Agency of Human Services, Department for Children and Families (DCF), Child Development Division (CDD) which oversees all aspects of registered family child care homes in Vermont. A free orientation program is offered by Child Care Resource for any one considering starting a family child care program in their home. You will learn about state requirements, the need for care in your town, along with resource and subsidy programs to help you start and maintain a quality child care program. Warm, friendly staff from CCR will answer your questions. You'll even get a free resource notebook to take home with you. For each orientation we arrange for an experienced family child care provider to come give you the inside scoop about being a provider. This program meets the State requirement for orientation.
