Professional Development Opportunities
At Child Care Resource we believe that professional development is key to your experience as a care giver and to the quality of the child care you offer. Our workshops cover a wide variety of topics including observing child behavior, parents as customers, new activity ideas and "hot topics" in the field of child care. Remember: The State of Vermont requires a minimum of six hours a year of training for all registered child care providers and twelve hours for child care providers working in licensed programs. Protective Service providers need an additional six hours each year. You are responsible for keeping track of your hours.
